<\/strong>Meals on Wheels Central Vermont, headquartered at The City Hotel Caf\u00e9 (formerly The Galley), has been operating at 14 Washington Street in Barre, VT since 1993. We are supported by Barre Housing Services and are located in the basement of Washington Apartments, which provides subsidized housing. The building we occupy has a rich Barre history, operating as City Hotel in the 1890\u2019s and then acquired by Barre Housing Authority in 1970. Bob Woodard \u2013 Director
<\/strong><\/em>Bob has been the Director of the Meals on Wheels program for the past 8 years. He started as head cook\/kitchen manager 2 years previous to that. He came here after a 35 year career in various restaurants. The last 20 at the Hilltop Restaurant. Bob was born and raised in Barre.<\/p>\n

Teresa Willett \u2013 Driver
<\/strong><\/em>Teresa has been a volunteer\/paid driver for over 24 years. Teresa is always willing to do whatever needs to be done. One thing Teresa really enjoys is the relationships she makes with the people she delivers to. Teresa lives in Barre, and loves animals. Especially her dogs, who she dotes on.<\/p>\n

Cindy Gallas \u2013Driver
<\/strong><\/em>Cindy has been driving for Meals on Wheels of Central VT since 2007. Cindy is a former nurse who lives in Barre and is ready to drive any route we need done that day, and that is invaluable<\/p>\n

Betty Busch \u2013 Driver
<\/strong><\/em>Betty just had her 5th<\/sup> year anniversary here at Meals on Wheels. She came to us from the Hilltop Restaurant. She does our Williamstown route, which is a long route with a lot of backroads. Her clients love to see her and chat. Betty lives in Calais with her husband.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Central Vermont Meals on Wheels, a subsidiary of Meals on Wheels America, serves clients in Barre City, Barre Town, Berlin, Orange, Washington and Williamstown. During 2019, Meals on Wheels Central VT and City Hotel Cafe are proud to have served 42,038 meals to our clients.<\/p>\n
