Meals on Wheels of Central Vermont prepares and delivers nutritious meals that support the health, independence, and well-being of older adults and neighbors with disabilities across Central Vermont.

Our meals are thoughtfully prepared with both nutrition and care in mind — and delivered with a friendly visit and daily safety check.


Nutrition You Can Count On

All Meals on Wheels of Central Vermont meals meet the nutritional guidelines set forth by the Older Americans Act.

Each meal provides approximately one-third of the recommended daily intake of key nutrients, including:

  • Protein

  • Vitamin A

  • Vitamin C

  • Vitamin D

  • Calcium

  • Whole grains

How to Get Started

  • If you are age 60 or older:

The intake process typically takes 20–30 minutes to complete.
